Professor Dong-Woo Suh was appointed as Deputy Editor of Scripta Materialia under Prof. Nack Joon Kim, Editor of Scripta Materialia. Scripta Materialia is a peerreviewed scientific journal.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

It is the “letters” section of Acta Materialia and covers novel properties or substantially improved properties of materials. Specific materials discussed are metals, ceramics and semiconductors at all length scales; and published research endeavors explore the functional or mechanical behavior of these materials. Articles tend to focus on the materials science and engineering aspects of discovery, characterization, development (including advances), structure, chemistry, theory, experiment, modeling, simulation, physics processes (e.g., thermodynamics, mechanics), synthesis, processing (production), mechanisms, and control.

Prof. Suh was also appointed as a Key Reader of Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A. Key Reader is a member of Board of Review of Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A. The role of Key Reader is to find reviewers for submitted papers and to recommend a decision to the editor according the reviewer’s comments.
