The Opening Ceremony of the Graduate Institute of Ferrous Technology (GIFT), POSTECH

[Letter of Invitation]

In September 2005 the Graduate Institute of Ferrous Technology (GIFT) ?formerly the Graduate School of Iron and Steel Technology (GSIST) makes a dramatic shift in its orientation of education and research under the special   approval of the Ministry of Education.

GIFT also begins the process of establishing ten new specialized research labs, each led by the world’s most highly regarded international academics. Our aim is to become a principal locus of global education and R&D in ferrous technology.

We believe that our combination of financial, physical and academic assets will enhance economic development by providing groundbreaking technologies for both domestic and internationally based industries.

You are cordially invited to attend the opening ceremony of the GIFT on September 9th 2005.
