Battery Design / Process


Secondary battery design and process is an important technology area for optimizing the energy density, output, and safety of secondary batteries. Secondary battery design is made by utilizing the physical properties and electrochemical characteristics of a given active material, and it is a process of optimizing it according to the function of the final application. The secondary battery process is a process to maximize the performance of the active material according to the designed electrode and cell specifications, and it is a process that must be considered when actually commercializing secondary batteries.

In our Graduate School of Steel Energy and Materials, we are systematically researching theoretical designs and practical processes to understand the final system to which secondary batteries will be applied, and to develop suitable secondary batteries and active materials. We are striving to become a cradle of nurturing new talents suitable for the era of the 4th revolution, who can understand the new future energy storage platform and design new materials.
