About Lab.

Our alloy design laboratory uses various microstructure analysis methods to find the influence of alloy microstructure on mechanical properties and conducts research to reflect this in alloy design or heat treatment design. Using high-resolution microscopes such as scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy, the cause of alloy embrittlement phenomenon due to impurity segregation behavior at grain boundaries and embrittlement phase precipitation is identified, and changes in mechanical properties due to the formation and transition of fine precipitated phases inside the grains are investigated. We are conducting research to understand and understand the yield phenomenon of metal materials, and based on these studies, we are focusing on research to improve the physical properties of alloys.
