In a situation in which most countries with the development of the steel industry around the world are gradually reducing engineering education courses related to cutting-edge technology to nurture talents in the steel field, the steel industry is required to make an effort to secure a survival engine for the future. In response to this challenge, POSTECH established the Graduate Institute of Ferrous & Eco Materials to serve as a research institute specialized in education and research in the field of steel technology.
