Graduate Institute of Ferrous & Eco Materials Technology operates a research participation program for only undergraduate students of Pohang University of Science and Technology during the semester. This is to provide an opportunity to POSTECH undergraduate students who are interested in Graduate Institute of Ferrous & Eco Materials Technology to understand what the Graduate School of Steel and Energy Materials is like.

Out-of-College Student Internship Program
Graduate Institute of Ferrous & Energy Materials Technology offers Graduate Institute of Ferrous & Energy Materials Technology internship program (student research participation program) in two quarters, summer and winter.
Undergraduate 3rd and 4th year students interested in steel technology research, systems, careers and/or laboratory activities and systems at Graduate Institute of Ferrous & Energy Materials Technology are encouraged to participate in our graduate internship program.
