The Energy Materials Lab focuses on lithium secondary battery materials. In particular, it is based on the search for physical properties at the atomic level by linking high-precision analysis technology, and explores the fundamental electrochemical operation principle of anode and cathode materials. Based on the newly acquired understanding, we research new electrode material development, future secondary battery system development, performance improvement of existing secondary battery materials, and material synthesis technology. Furthermore, we understand new electrochemical phenomena occurring in the electrode and system units, and based on this, we explore the principles of secondary batteries in the electrode and battery units and design new systems. We think, act and research so that a cleaner future can come sooner. Most importantly, our laboratory strives for successful research outcomes and happy graduate school life for all members.
