Congratulations on the awards received by GIFT students at the 2023 Fall conference of the Korean Institute of Metals and Materials, held at Daegu Convention Center from October 25th to 27th. 

 

▣ Outstanding Poster Presentation Award

Hyun Jae Kim (CSL, Master’s Program): I am delighted to have spent my last semester in the master’s program fruitfully with this award from the conference. I am thankful to Professor Youn-Bae Kang, who always guides me in the right path, and to the members of CSL who supported me, as well as my parents. I will continue to strive forward. 

 

▣ Outstanding Oral Presentation Awards

Dong Won Lee (ADL, Ph.D. Program): Thank you.

Tae Gyu Wi (CSL, Ph.D. Program): I am grateful to Professor Youn-Bae Kang, who always guides us with passion, and to Young Joon Park, a fellow student in the same lab, who provides ingenious ideas. I will repay with good research in the future.

Taemin Yeo (CSPL, Ph.D. Program): Thanks to Prof. Jung-Wook Cho and Prof. Sabyasachi Sen.

Seong Gyu Chung (CSPL, Ph.D. Program): I will strive forward.

Leonardo Tomas Da Rocha (EML): I would like to thank the conference committee that decided to give this prize for my research topic and presentation. I feel honored.
