From April 24 to 26, 2024, the Spring Meeting of the Korean Institute of Metals and Materials was held in Changwon, where GIFT students received several awards.

 

▣ Outstanding Student Oral Presentation Awards

Seokhwan Ju (Ph.D. candidate, CML, Influence of Nb Addition on Hydrogen Trapping Characteristics and Hydrogen Embrittlement in Press Hardening Steel (PHS)): I am grateful to Professor Dong-Woo Suh for his patient guidance and thoughtful advice. I also extend my thanks to all my lab mates for their significant support during my research.

Dohyeon Kim (Master's candidate, EML, A New Approach of Pelletization: Use of low-grade ores as raw material): Thank you to Leo, Seong Kyu, Seong Jin, and Mr. Sangyeol Lee. Let's go, Dohyeon Kim! 

Rae Eon Kim (Ph.D. candidate, SNMPL, Defect Control of Additive Manufactured Materials through Surface Severe Plastic Deformation): I am always grateful to my professor and lab members for their great help in my research.
