The 2023 Spring General Assembly and Academic Conference of the Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry was held on May 11th at the Jeju International Convention Center, Halla Hall.

During the conference, Prof. Changshin Jo from the POSTECH GIFT was selected as a Rising Scientist by Miwon Corporation. Among the

candidates who passed the first-round document review, individuals who delivered excellent presentations at the Fall Rising Scientist Forum were selected. This selection aims to encourage outstanding young researchers with the potential to make significant contributions in their academic field and support them in achieving outstanding achievements in their respective fields.

In addition, student Park Shin from the NEDL (Integrated student) received the Best student Poster Presentation Award at the conference.
