Mr. Shin–Yeong Lee (Ph.D. course student in MML, GIFT) received the ‘Jin-Hap Academic Award’ at the Spring Conference of the Korean Society of Technology of Plasticity (KSTP) held in Yeosu on May 13-14, 2021, for his presentation entitled “Direct coefficient identification of pressure-dependent distortional plasticity framework.” This conference is held twice a year in spring and autumn, and several awards are selected for each conference. About 150 researchers in fields related to materials processing and plasticity participated in this conference. Over 100 oral presentations and 40 posters were delivered over two days. In the case of the Jin-Hap Academic Award, the committee selects excellent presentations among oral presentations. We are all very proud of Shin–Yeong for this great achievement.
