In-Beom Park, a doctoral student in CSL and A In Hwang, a master’s student in CML, GIFT won good poster awards from the Korean Institute of Metals and Materials (KIM+). KIM+ selected eight outstanding articles (one for the first prize, three for honor awards, and four for participation prizes) which were presented at 2016 Steel Science Forum (10th) held in Hongcheon, Gangwon-do from July 7th to 8th.
In-Beom Park won an honor award for the article: In-Situ X-Ray Fluoroscopic Observation for Motion of Bubbles in Liquid Fe-C and Fe-C-S for Correction of Drag Coefficient Used in Numerical Simulation, and A In Hwang won a participation prize for the article: Influence of C and Si on hydrogen-induced machanical degradation in medium Mn TRIP steel.
