52 distinguished students of engineering colleges of quality including Seoul National University, Yonsei University, Korea University, KAIST, POSTECH, who are in major of materials science & engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering visited GIFT on July 30th, under ‘POSCO Engineering Camp’ program.

They heard 30 minutes’ introduction of GIFT from Dr. Chong Soo Lee, the dean of GIFT, about the foundation & history, various achievements of GIFT and the statistical data of career of the GIFT members in relation with entering POSCO. After a couple of minutes’ having questions and answers, they toured GIFT facilities like RFC(Research Facility Center), LSL(Large Scale Lab.) and several convenient facilities on the 5th floor.

‘POSCO Engineering Camp’ was the program for engineering majoring college students to have a chance to know what POSCO is and to get familiar with it, so that to make them feel friendly and to encourage them to enter POSCO after their graduations. GIFT cheers many excellent students to enter POSCO and to be in a potential manpower pool of GIFT.
