Sincerely congratulate the master’s and doctoral students from the Graduate Institute of Ferrous and Energy Materials who received the Best Student Oral Presentation Award and Best Student Poster Presentation Award at the 2023 Spring Academic Conference of the Korean Institute of Metals and Materials, which took place at the Jeju International Convention Center from April 25th (Tuesday) to 28th (Friday).

<Best Student Oral Presentation Award>

Chang Gon Jeong (ADL, Ph.D. Student): I would like to express my gratitude to Prof. Yoon-Uk Heo and the members of the ADL lab for their generous help and advice. Thank you.

Hong Seok Hwan (CML, Ph.D. Student): First of all, I would like to thank Prof. Dong-Woo Suh for his excellent guidance, and I am also grateful to the senior researchers and colleagues in the lab who

always provide support. I will continue to make more efforts to become an excellent researcher.

Young Joon Park (CSL, Ph.D. Student): I am thankful to Prof. Youn-Bae Kang for guiding me in the right direction for my research. I will devote myself more diligently to my research. Thank you for the award.

Wonbum Park (CSL, Ph.D. Student): I express my heartfelt gratitude to the officials of the KIMS for presenting me with this award. I would also like to extend my sincere appreciation to Prof. Youn-Bae

Kang, who always provides warm encouragement and guidance in research. I believe that the research personnel of GIFT are playing a pivotal role in the paradigm shift in the steel industry. I will strive to

achieve even better research outcomes.
