The Graduate Institute of Ferrous & Eco Materials Technology (GIFT) at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) is seeking to recruit Affiliate Faculty (Non-tenure-track faculty) as follows. We welcome the interest and applications of qualified candidates.

2.     Department (major)

-     Secondary Battery: Research on electrolytes, active materials, and next-generation batteries using accelerator-based advanced analysis techniques
※ Only candidates currently employed at their original institutions (public institutions, companies, universities, etc.) are eligible to apply.

 

3.     Qualifications

- Ph.D. degree or equivalent professional experience

- Must be currently employed at their original institution and able to obtain official approval for concurrent (affiliate) appointment

- Experience with synchrotron/accelerator-based research preferred

 

4.     Required Documents

- CV (including Publication, Patent, Technology Transfer result

- Official diploma of the highest academic degree

- Certificate of Working Experience

- Official letter of approval for concurrent (affiliate) appointment from the current employer (or equivalent document)

 

5.     Evaluation Criteria

- Relevance of the applicant’s expertise to the advertised field

- Excellence in research achievements (publications, patents, technology transfer, etc.)

- Career accomplishments and record of industry-academia collaboration

- If no suitable candidate is found, recruitment may be withheld
